This monumental expansion not only introduces over 300 acres of new skiable terrain but also sets the stage for an unparalleled integration of world-class skiing and premier mountain living.
The debut of the Keetley Express, Deer Valley’s first six-person bubble chairlift, was the centerpiece of the East Village launch. Designed to provide seamless access to the new terrain, this state-of-the-art lift enhances the skier experience with its advanced comfort and efficiency.
Guests attending the grand opening were treated to Deer Valley’s signature hospitality, including complimentary hot beverages, delicious treats, and commemorative stickers to mark the occasion. Alongside the expanded ski area, the new East Village now boasts 500 additional day-skier parking spots, further enhancing accessibility.

The East Village expansion is not only about new terrain but also a vision for integrated luxury living and hospitality. At its heart lies the newly opened Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, a stunning addition to the resort’s offerings. Opened in November 2024, this luxury hotel features approximately 436 accommodations, including 55 private residences, all designed to deliver the ultimate ski-in, ski-out experience.
Future plans include the introduction of a Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences, further solidifying East Village as a premier destination for luxury mountain living. This visionary development also encompasses over 800 hotel rooms, nearly 1,700 residential units, and 250,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, creating a vibrant, multi-faceted community.
The Expanded Excellence Initiative

By next winter, the resort plans to double its terrain, adding 10 new lifts, 100 runs, and over 2,000 acres of skiable space.
