Energized and ready for some action, join the 5k Fun Run at 8 am to get your blood pumping and enjoy a healthy dose of exercise.

At 11 am, make sure you secure a prime viewing spot along Main Street to witness the captivating July 4th Parade. This popular event draws a significant crowd, so arriving early is recommended. The parade commences at the top of Main Street, proceeds down the lively thoroughfare, takes a left turn on 9th Street (passing by the Town Lift), and then continues down Park Avenue.

Once the parade concludes, take advantage of the vibrant atmosphere on Main Street to indulge in some shopping and treat yourself to a delicious lunch. Don’t miss out on the unique stores and dining options available in this bustling area.

Additionally, there are plenty of engaging activities for children, including specially organized kids’ activities, as well as thrilling rugby games and a competitive volleyball tournament. If you’re in the mood for live music and refreshments, head over to City Park at noon to enjoy the lively ambiance.

To ensure seamless transportation, we recommend utilizing our convenient and complimentary public transit service to travel to and from Main Street. This will help you navigate the area efficiently and enjoy the festivities without worrying about parking or traffic.

  • All Day – Park City Fourth of July Volleyball Tournament & family activities at Park City Mountain Resort

Not sure where to watch the drone show from? Park City Mountain Resort is best. You should also have a good view of the show from Park City Golf Course, City Park and Lower Main Street.

PARKING AND ROAD CLOSURES

  • 6:00am – 2:00pm Parking will be removed from Main Street, Park Avenue (from 9th to 15th Streets), Heber Avenue, Swede Alley, and all Swede Alley surface parking lots. Roads are expected to close to all vehicles at 8:00 a.m.
  • 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. There will be no parking available in City Park. *Any vehicles parked in these areas during the times indicated above will be towed at owner’s expense.

FREE PARKING AND TRANSIT

  • Richardson Flat: free parking with free transit.
  • Sandridge Lots: free parking access via Marsac Avenue. Expected to fill quickly.
  • Park City School District (Kearns Blvd.): free parking with free transit to/from Main Street.
  • Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resorts: free parking with free transit to Old Town.

PAID PARKING

  • China Bridge Parking Structure: Paid parking available for $30, until 1:00 p.m. Free parking from 1:00-6:00 p.m. Standard rates after 6:00 p.m. $3/hour (maximum rate of $18)
  • Main Street and Surface Parking Lots: Closed 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Standard rates after 2:00 p.m. (no first hour free).
  • Private Parking Lots: Available throughout Old Town, with varying regulations, pay structures, and costs.

PARKING PERMIT HOLDERS

  • Business Permits: Main Street Businesses with permits are encouraged to park in the North Marsac Lot (access via Marsac Avenue) and the Gateway Center upper lot (access via Heber Avenue).
  • Carpool Permit: Carpool Permit holders should park in Sandridge Lots. If Sandridge Lots are full, Carpool Permit holders may park in North Marsac or China Bridge as space allows.

TAXI STAGING/DROP-AND-LOAD

  • Drop-and-load and taxi staging area will be available in the South Marsac Lot.
